It’s simple. We’ve categorised our models based on typical UK room sizes. As a general guide: our 125mm units are perfect for standard bedrooms and offices (up to 25m²), our 150mm units are ideal for living rooms and master bedrooms (up to 40m²), and our 200mm units are for larger, open-plan spaces. • Quattro: The ‘smart’ one. It has intelligent sensors and a natural wood design, automatically managing your air quality.
• Optima: The ‘premium’ one. Engineered with premium materials for the most powerful and whisper-quiet performance.

Remarkably little. Thanks to modern, energy-efficient German motors, a Climtec unit typically costs just £10-£15 per year to run continuously. That’s less than most LED lightbulbs.

We measure noise at a distance of 3 metres to give a real-world idea of sound levels. Our Standard units run at about 24-38 dB(A), which is between a whisper and a quiet library. Our premium Optima series is even quieter, making it genuinely ideal for the lightest of sleepers. We are always transparent with our noise level data, which you can find on each product’s technical specification tab.

Maintenance is very simple. The G3 filters are washable and reusable. We recommend taking them out and cleaning them with warm, soapy water every 3-4 months. It’s a 5-minute job. With proper care, they will last for many years, and replacement filters are readily available from our shop if needed.
